At Spanish Immersion-JP, our joy comes from building new friendships and sharing new experiences. We currently offer exercise, dance, music, computer, sewing and Spanish classes to seniors at 3 different locations. Due to the success of these programs, we established another music class. There was previously only one class in Brookline, but we decided to create another one in Jamaica Plain. We selected music specifically because our seniors love it! They have reported that it keeps them active and happy. By expanding our music program to include JP, seniors living in that neighborhood can attend music classes closer home, and those willing to travel to multiple locations have the opportunity to play music more than once a week.

We already have a wonderful teacher, instruments, and seniors enjoying the class! We only need one more thing- your help. Classes like these are not free, and we want to be able to create sustainable, quality programming for our seniors. Our goal is to raise $5,200 to allow our new program to continue to thrive. This money will allow us to pay our music teacher a competitive rate and purchase more instruments for our seniors to practice with.
